LucyGoosey was born of my love for children, design and happy memories of my childhood. Reminiscences of playing on the beach with my family are stitched right into the clothes you see here, so it was fitting that the first LucyGoosey collection be photographed at my mom’s home on the Oregon Coast. My two daughters, pictured here with me, were enthusiastic models because they love the beach as much as I did!

I live with my husband and three children in the farmhouse where my mother grew up. In fact, I sewed the first samples in a room overlooking the duck pond where my mother and grandmother did their sewing. Designing and sewing this collection has made me realize how important our childhood experiences are. So, as well as being contemporary and fun, these clothes are a tribute to the past with a sense of joy that I want to share with my children and yours.
